At the destination, the children turned into “young farmers”, digging sweet potatoes, planting rice, catching fish, and even chasing ducks. These hands-on activities not only helped them build physical strength and teamwork skills but also gave them a real sense of how valuable and meaningful labour can be.
The afternoon continued with a range of lively and challenging games, from seesaw monkey bridges and obstacle courses to fun sliding houses. Laughter filled the air as students ran and danced through cool, artificial rain, before relaxing together in the lazy river, chatting and enjoying the moment with their friends.
Before heading back to school, the students joined a special activity: making grasshoppers out of coconut leaves. With their skillful hands, they transformed simple leaves into charming little insects – small keepsakes from a day full of adventure. Though a bit tired after all the activities, their eyes still sparkled with joy. This trip will surely be remembered as a beautiful memory in their journey of growing up.
